Modular CanSat Rocket Design

Design and analysis of a modular CanSat rocket intended to reduce cost while remaining reusable, carrying two CanSats and powered by a commercial solid propellant motor. The focus was on the motor case design and a mechanical, magnetometer-based apogee-detection separation mechanism, with the rocket sized to fit two different motor diameters for different maximum altitudes.
This work was completed as a BSc thesis at Istanbul Technical University; see the Publications page for the full thesis.
